HOST / BUY-OUT
Hosting our PIO Training seminar is a unique way for your agency to bring high caliber, interactive public information officer, media relations and social media training to your area. Your department saves out-of-town training dollars while providing an opportunity to network with public information officers, PIOs, spokespersons, public affairs officers, social media officers and leaders from police, fire, public safety, 911, emergency management agencies across the region.
As the host of our PIO training course, your agency is responsible for providing a modern training facility with podium, tables & chairs for 15-25 people, up-to-date A/V equipment & Internet / WiFi access. Your department shall periodically (bi-weekly) provide assistance in marketing and advertising the training to officials from departments and agencies in surrounding areas.
In exchange for hosting and assisting with our PIO & Media Relations Training class, 1 official from your agency will be allowed to attend free of charge, your department receives a 2nd complementary seat when 16 or more paid registrations are received. We handle registrations, paperwork, handouts, certificates, etc. Generally, a minimum of 12 paid registrations is needed to present the course.
We also offer buy-out opportunities. This means that we agree on a set fee for presenting the seminar at your agency or pre-arranged location. Your agency provides a modern training facility, podium, tables & chairs for 15-25 people, up-to-date A/V equipment & Internet / WiFi access, etc. Your agency fills allotted spaces in the seminar, handles registrations, notifications, confirmations, etc. We present the seminar, provide workbooks, hand-outs, certificates, etc. The cost per person is lower because your agency handles much of the work prior to the seminar. This can be a great networking opportunity for various agencies in your region.
Thank you for your interest in PIO Training hosting and buy-out opportunities. If we can answer any additional
